One of the top positions that exist in any company would be the chief executive officer, also known as the CEO. There are many things that a CEO is responsible for doing, but here at Royal Rebel Entertainment, the CEO is going to be responsible for a few very important tasks. 

 

According to Monster, a CEO manages the overall operations of the company. Those operations usually include product development, marketing, and communications. Royal Rebel Entertainment is an independent label and production company, so the CEO position will slightly differ from the tradition CEO position. The CEO is the head of the company and will also serve as an A&R representative. Calling venues and radio stations, working with distributors, and recruiting team members are just a few of the responsibilities the CEO will have.

 

Effective leadership and team building are essential skills to have as the CEO. Being able to select highly skilled and qualified candidates to be a part of the Royal Rebel brand is one of the keys that will lead to success.

 

Company development and strategic decision making plays a major part in the role of CEO. According to Workable.com, the candidate for the CEO position must have a business mindset and to see the “big picture” in a variety of settings. The overall goal of the CEO is to guide the company to long term success.  

 

Skills:

• Effective leadership skills

• Ability to communicate (written and verbally)

• Critical and creative thinking skills to solve problems and make calculated risks

• Time and project management skills

• Ability to remain optimistic in difficult situations

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field (preferably Entertainment) and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration

• At least 3 years of experience in a senior management position

• Knowledge of the music industry

• Must have experience in accounting and marketing
